Film Music Prague commissioned me to arrange a Concert Suite to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Ridley Scott’s Alien (1979).
The Suite will world premiere on February 3rd, 2019 at Forum Karlin.
The evening’s concert, Legends: Ridley Scott, will also include music from the director’s entire filmography.
Ridley Scott‘s long time collaborator, Harry Gregson-Williams, will be conducting some of his scores.
Praga Sinfonietta & Vox Pragae Choir, will be performing rest of the program, under the direction of Chuhei Iwasaki.
Lastly, will be presenting a Masterclass – Hidden Heroes: Orchestrators & Arrangers – alongside fellow orchestrator and friend Leigh Phillips.
We’ll be discussing about the challenges orchestrators are facing when preparing film scores for a live performance.
